		<description>gattsuru: Yep, I use Linux and Mac OS X on a daily basis too. While I generally like Windows Vista, I think Microsoft did not get UAC anywhere near right. It is just too annoying. I suspect people are just going to OK all those pop-ups and defeat its purpose. su and sudo provide a much saner way to deal with privileged areas.</description>

		<description>You shouldn't get any pop-ups if you're creating folders within your account's permission scheme (not in a "Public", "Program Files", or "Windows" folder, afaik).  Outside your permission scheme it should only be two pop-ups.

Of course, you could just turn off UAC, or go to a Linux system that requires you to type out a sudo command every time you want to change things outside your permissions scheme... but that'd take all of the fun out of hating Microsoft.</description>
